Fabrication Associate - 18.00 per hour, 1st and 2nd Shift - North Kansas City, MO

Strategic Workforce Development is hiring Fabrication Associates for a pipe fabrication shop in North Kansas City, MO. This role offers room to grow in fabrication and welding.

PAY AND SCHEDULE
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Shift: 1st and 2nd shift openings

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Cut pipe to length on rotary chop saws and band saws
• Run grooving machines (Victaulic or Pace) and pipe threaders
• Use a bench grinder and band saw to prepare threaded rod, and install hanger devices
• Move pipe along the table and stage finished pipe on carts or crates for loading
• Use a forklift when needed to move materials and pipe
• Help with other tasks as directed by the fabrication lead or manager

WHAT YOU NEED

• Prior mechanical assembly and/or fabrication experience
• Able to stand for a full shift and lift up to 50 pounds
• Warehouse experience and sit-down forklift experience preferred
• Good attendance is a must
