Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Carpenters for projects located in or around Dayton, OH. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $30/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:
- Perform commercial carpentry work on new construction projects
- Read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and specifications
- Install metal studs, framing, blocking, backing, and structural supports
- Install doors, frames, hardware, trim, and other building components
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install construction materials
- Safely operate hand tools and power tools
- Work alongside other trades and follow direction from supervisors and project managers
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all jobsite safety procedures and OSHA requirements
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3+ years of commercial carpentry experience
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Must have basic carpentry hand tools required for the trade
- Must provide and wear required PPE, including:
- Hard Hat
- Safety Glasses
- Work Gloves
- High-Visibility Vest
- Appropriate Work Boots
- Must be reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently or as part of a team
