As a Security Officer - Full Time - Unarmed Days in West Chester, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Access Control Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will manage visitor access, monitor entry points, and help maintain a welcoming, secure environment. You will use technology to support access procedures, communicate professionally with employees and guests, and provide visible coverage that helps deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue and collect badges or passes, and maintain accurate access-related records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, restricted areas, business spaces, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
• Assist with maintaining an orderly flow of visitors and vendors, provide directions, and support a professional, welcoming environment while following confidentiality requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
