Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Part Time Security Officer for a Pharma Company in Cambridge MA

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 3 PM - 11 PM

Starting Pay is $22.05 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training 

As a Security Officer in Cambridge, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer supporting a dynamic healthcare location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, assist employees and visitors, and provide clear, professional communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a healthcare research and manufacturing location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain visitor records, and support compliance with site entry requirements for restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facilities, laboratories, offices, parking areas, and perimeter locations to identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Complete accurate reports, logs, and shift communications while working collaboratively with site representatives and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
