Your Main Tasks and Responsibilities Are:

• Lead automation and manufacturing engineering projects from concept to implementation.
• Develop project plans and ensure timely delivery of key milestones.
• Define production line layouts, workstations, and process sequences.
• Create engineering specifications and requirements using DOORS.
• Coordinate suppliers, manage quotations, and support purchasing activities.
• Define supplier work packages and oversee execution and delivery.
• Analyze and optimize cycle times to improve manufacturing efficiency.
• Test and validate software modifications and new automation concepts.
• Support installation, commissioning, and ramp-up of production lines.
• Design and maintain industrial networks using EtherNet/IP and PROFINET.
• Configure and integrate new hardware, controls, and automation equipment.
• Provide technical support and guidance to global manufacturing plants.
• Act as a subject matter expert for AME teams and new engineering projects.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality and productivity.
• Develop and enhance LabVIEW applications for manufacturing and testing systems.
• Program and support CAN/LIN communication functionality for new projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional global teams to deliver project objectives

What Do We Expect From You:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Automation, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Proven experience in automotive manufacturing, automation, or industrial engineering.
• Strong project management and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Experience with DOORS or similar requirements management tools.
• Knowledge of EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, CAN, and LIN communication protocols.
• Hands-on experience with LabVIEW programming and software testing.
• Basic SQL knowledge and familiarity with JSON structures.
• Experience with Git, SVN, or other version control systems.
• Knowledge of C and/or C++ is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a global, cross-functional environment.
• Knowledge of JSON structures
