Overview

As Warehouse Specialist you will be responsible for processing shipments in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring operational excellence, high efficiency, and customer satisfaction. You will be sorting, packing, loading, and unloading freight and managing shortages/damages with a CDR report prepared.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks
• Pull and stage outbound goods using loading manifest
• Check in/load out domestic and international freight
• Put freight away in designated areas
• Drive sits down forklift (electrical or propane) in a safe and efficient manner
• Re-weigh freight / cargo as directed; basic math skills required
• Maintain a clean work environment and follow safety policies
• Able to use a computer and the main software packages competently
• All other duties and responsibilities will be assigned as the business demands deem necessary
• Execute all Dangerous Goods shipments in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations (as applicable)
• Contribute actively to a healthy and secure work environment by reporting unsafe/unsecure/unhealthy conditions and possible improvements.

Qualifications

• Fluent oral and written English is a must
• Previous warehouse experience is required
• Knowledge of air freight regulations is desirable
• Reach/ counterbalance Truck essential
• Basic PC skills (Windows, Microsoft Office applications) preferred
