Description

EOS Defense Systems USA designs and produces highly accurate, cost-effective, modular, and scalable Remote Weapon Systems that give warfighters a decisive edge in counter-UAS and ground-to-ground missions. Trusted across platforms, we're at the forefront of defense innovation.

At EOS our people are our strength. Here, engineers own their work throughout their life cycle. Working side by side with a small, multi-disciplinary team in a safe, collaborative workplace. The pace is fast, the mission is real, and you'll build your skills and grow your career while advancing technology that matters, from advanced effectors to AI. If you want hands-on engineering with real ownership and a direct line to the mission, EOS Defense Systems USA is the place to be.

We are currently hiring for an experienced Reliability Engineer. The Reliability Engineer analyzes and improves the reliability, maintainability, and availability of systems and subsystems that support advanced defense and aerospace applications. This role works closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to identify potential failure modes, establish reliability requirements, and verify performance throughout the product lifecycle. The Reliability Engineer performs reliability modeling, failure analysis, test planning, and data evaluation to support robust designs and effective sustainment. This is an on-site position located at our facility.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 5+ years of experience in reliability engineering, maintainability engineering, product assurance, or related engineering disciplines.
  • Knowledge of reliability principles, probability, statistics, life distributions, and failure rate analysis.
  • Experience performing Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Failure Modes, Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMECA), and Fault Tree Analysis (FTA).
  • Experience developing reliability predictions, reliability block diagrams, and reliability and maintainability assessments.
  • Experience analyzing test or field failure data and conducting root cause analysis to support corrective actions.
  • Familiarity with reliability testing, environmental testing, and verification of complex hardware and software systems.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate technical findings to engineering teams and customers.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in an engineering discipline, Reliability Engineering, Applied Statistics, or a related field.
  • Experience with defense or aerospace systems and reliability, availability, and maintainability (RAM) program requirements.
  • Familiarity with MIL-HDBK-217, MIL-HDBK-338, MIL-HDBK-472, MIL-STD-810, or comparable reliability and environmental engineering guidance.
  • Proficiency with reliability analysis software and statistical tools such as ReliaSoft, Minitab, MATLAB, or Python.
  • Experience with Weibull analysis, accelerated life testing, reliability growth testing, or Highly Accelerated Life Testing (HALT).
  • Experience with Failure Reporting, Analysis, and Corrective Action Systems (FRACAS) and closed-loop failure resolution.
  • ASQ Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE) certification.
  • Active Secret or Top Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and support reliability, availability, and maintainability plans for defense systems throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Support reliability and maintainability requirements development, allocation, verification, and validation activities.
  • Perform reliability predictions, reliability block diagram modeling, and trade studies to evaluate design alternatives.
  • Conduct FMEA, FMECA, and fault tree analyses to identify potential failure modes and recommend design improvements.
  • Collaborate with systems, electrical, mechanical, software, manufacturing, and test engineers to address reliability risks.
  • Develop reliability test plans, procedures, and acceptance criteria, including appropriate sample sizes and statistical confidence requirements.
  • Support environmental, life, and reliability growth testing and evaluate results against program requirements.
  • Analyze laboratory and field performance data to assess failure trends, service life, and reliability metrics.
  • Investigate failures, support root cause analysis, and verify the effectiveness of corrective actions through FRACAS or equivalent processes.
  • Evaluate maintainability, repair tasks, and maintenance data to support improved serviceability and sustainment planning.
  • Prepare technical documentation, including RAM analyses, test reports, risk assessments, and reliability recommendations, and support technical reviews and customer meetings.
  • Ensure reliability activities follow applicable standards, customer requirements, and company engineering processes; support proposal efforts and technology development initiatives as required.

Outstanding Benefits/Perks:

• Excellent insurance coverage

• 401(k) match

• Generous PTO

• Tuition Reimbursement

• 9/80 Work Schedule
