About Aampere

Join Aampere, a seed-stage, VC-backed startup redefining the European market for used electric vehicles. Since our launch, we’ve enabled EV owners to sell their cars quickly and seamlessly within 48 hours, while giving dealers across Europe access to previously untapped customer segments.

Our team comes from the German startup ecosystem, with experience at Autarc, Greenforce, Cardino, Wemolo, Remberg, Alasco, Porsche, Mercedes, and KPMG.

Your Mission

You’ll be the right hand of our Chief of Staff Benni, who was employee number one at a YC-backed startup and worked at several top-tier VC-backed startups before Aampere. You sit where the company gets steered, between the founders’ OKRs and the owners who deliver them, watch how priorities get set and pressure-tested and form your own judgment on what actually moves the business. At the same time, you help build the org: we’re scaling headcount hard, and you own real pieces of the People function instead of shadowing from the side. That’s how you get a front-row seat to how a startup gets built and run.

To get there, you take special projects from idea to done, many of them zero to one, from opening up B2B supply to building our PR and comms. A lot happens ad hoc and decisions land fast, so you bring structure, close gaps and don’t wait to be told. Working across People, GTM, Strategy and Ops, you learn how to operate a startup from the inside, and there are very few better seats for that.

What you bring

• Fresh out of a top university, with a track record at a leading consultancy or a top-tier startup.
• A generalist who defaults to ownership: you see the gap, close it and bring order to messy problems without being asked.
• You operate above your level, and you can prove it.
• You’re at your best when the path isn’t drawn yet and you enjoy switching between very different topics.
• Fluent in German and English, moving between German partner and candidate communication and an English-speaking team without friction.
• Available for a six-month, full-time internship and thinking about where this leads, not where it ends. If you’re exceptional, we want you to stay.

Aampere isn't for you if...

• … you want to work mostly remotely. We believe the best ideas happen when people are in the same room. That’s why you’ll be with us in the office at least four days a week.
• ...you want to walk into ready-made processes and structures. A lot of that does not exist here yet. We are looking for people who build structures and processes themselves, not people who administer them.
• … you need a finished plan before you start. Seed stage means a lot is unclear and changes week to week. You have to be comfortable making decisions in the dark and correcting course as you go.
• … you want to stay in your lane. “That is not my job” is not a thing here. You jump in where it matters, even when it sits outside your job description.
• … you want a classic 9-to-5. We are building something big, and that does not happen on the side. The people here want to go all in, not just put in the time.
