## About this Role

We are seeking a Financial Operations Specialist to join our Advanced Finance team in Budapest. The role focuses on accounting and financial operations, including bank and payment reconciliation, invoice processing, month-end activities, financial analysis and reporting. You will also contribute to forecasting, process improvements and projects designed to improve financial data quality and operational efficiency.

## What you’ll do

• Upload and reconcile bank receipts in SAP.
• Allocate payments to the appropriate vendor accounts and post roaming receipts and payments to the relevant general or sub-ledgers.
• Process incoming and outgoing invoices and manage self-billing activities for vendors.
• Support month-end closing activities, including reporting, balance sheet reconciliations and accruals.
• Investigate and resolve vendor disputes and blocked financial items.
• Support forecasting requests, productivity assessments, scenario analysis and related financial analysis.
• Participate in system migration testing and projects that may affect financial reports or processes.
• Provide financial input to business partners when developing commission schemes, including assessing financial impact and technical feasibility.
• Deliver reports and analyse commission data, identifying corrective actions and opportunities to improve data quality and processes.
• Perform root cause analysis to resolve recurring issues and improve productivity and process effectiveness.

## Who you are

• You have 2–5 years of relevant professional experience, ideally within financial accounting, supply chain or sourcing.
• You are fluent in English; fluency in the language of the supported local market is also required.
• You have practical SAP knowledge and strong computer skills, particularly advanced Excel; experience with Access and databases is also relevant.
• You demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively with financial data and resolve operational issues.
• You communicate effectively, collaborate well with others and maintain a strong customer focus.
• Previous experience in a shared services environment or the telecommunications/retail sector would be an advantage.
• An accounting certification would be advantageous.
