Your Role in Home Health
As a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA/COTA) with VRNS, you’ll provide skilled occupational therapy interventions in patients’ homes under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. You’ll help patients improve daily living skills, functional abilities, and independence through individualized care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide skilled occupational therapy interventions under an Occupational Therapist’s supervision
- Help patients develop skills for activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs)
- Instruct patients in the safe use of adaptive equipment
- Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising Occupational Therapist
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals
- Complete accurate and timely electronic documentation

Requirements
Need to Have:
