A well-established property management company is seeking an experienced Leasing Consultant for a boutique active adult community in McKinney, TX. This is an opportunity for a leasing professional who knows that success in a 55+ community takes more than filling apartments—it takes understanding the lifestyle, building genuine connections, and helping prospective residents find a place that feels like home.

What You’ll Do

• Tour prospective residents, showcase apartment homes, and convert qualified prospects into leases.
• Process rental applications and maintain accurate resident and prospect records in Yardi.
• Respond promptly and professionally to prospect and resident inquiries.
• Inspect vacant apartments and help ensure homes are ready for new residents.
• Deliver a welcoming, personalized leasing experience that reflects the lifestyle and expectations of an active adult community.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local Fair Housing regulations.
• Manage multiple priorities while supporting leasing activity and occupancy goals.

What We’re Looking For

• Multiple years of leasing experience, including direct experience in an active adult, active senior, or 55+ community.
• A proven ability to manage the leasing process independently and contribute to occupancy goals.
• Strong sales, customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• A friendly, approachable demeanor and the ability to connect with prospective residents.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Yardi experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Familiarity with the McKinney and greater Dallas rental market is a plus.

Schedule & Compensation

• Hourly, non-exempt position with a bonus structure tied to leasing and occupancy.
• Tuesday through Saturday schedule; the leasing office is closed Sunday and Monday.
• Saturday availability from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. is required due to peak leasing activity.
