Description

Are you passionate about procurement, comfortable working with data, and interested in developing your expertise in packaging materials?

Join our international Packaging Materials Procurement team and play an important role in transforming sourcing decisions into measurable business results. You will combine procurement operations, sourcing support, data analysis and cross-functional project coordination while collaborating with colleagues across multiple international locations

What you will do

  • Support sourcing activities, including RFQs, RFPs and tenders, by consolidating quotations, comparing bids and preparing commercial evaluations.
  • Analyse packaging spend, prices, purchase price variance, suppliers and categories to identify cost gaps, inconsistencies and savings opportunities.
  • Prepare clear price, spend, supplier, benchmark and cost-driver analyses to support negotiations and business reviews.
  • Implement approved commercial decisions in SAP/Fiori, including purchasing conditions and negotiated price updates.
  • Coordinate packaging material IDs, supplier-material combinations and vendor extensions with operational and master-data teams.
  • Contribute to budget, quarterly estimate, long-range planning and standard-price processes.
  • Support packaging projects involving new materials, alternative suppliers, specification changes, site transfers and Change Controls.
  • Maintain accurate trackers and reports for savings, sourcing projects, supplier activities and procurement actions.
  • Help simplify procurement processes, reduce manual work and improve data quality through Excel, SAP and other digital tools.

What you bring

  • At least three years of relevant professional experience - practical experience in procurement, which is essential for this position.
  • Experience in a pharmaceutical, medical-device or another regulated environment. FMCG experience may also be considered if you are motivated to learn.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into clear conclusions and actionable recommendations.
  • Good working knowledge of Excel and SAP or another ERP system.
  • Experience with packaging materials and their cost drivers would be an advantage.
  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Procurement, Business, Engineering, Finance, Packaging or a related discipline would be beneficial.
  • Fluent English. Czech or Romanian would be an advantage.

What will help you succeed

You are highly accurate, responsible and comfortable taking ownership of your work. You organise priorities effectively, communicate risks or delays openly and follow tasks through to completion. You can work independently while building productive relationships with colleagues across international teams and functions.

Why join us?

This role offers broad exposure to packaging procurement, sourcing, supplier analysis, category performance and cross-functional packaging projects. You will work closely with Procurement leadership, Category Managers, Site Operations and international teams, giving you the opportunity to develop a strong foundation for further growth within procurement and category management.
