We are looking for a dependable and enthusiastic Cook I who enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen, takes pride in food quality, and is ready to contribute to a talented culinary team. Starting rate $22.85
Responsibilities
What You Will Do
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes, standards, and specifications.
Assist with daily food preparation, including chopping, portioning, measuring, and preparing ingredients.
Maintain consistency in food quality, presentation, portion sizes, and preparation.
Follow proper food handling, storage, sanitation, and food safety procedures.
Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workstation throughout the shift.
Monitor food temperatures and ensure products are properly labeled, dated, and stored.
Work collaboratively with other cooks, chefs, and kitchen team members to ensure timely food service.
Assist with receiving and storing food deliveries as needed.
Support banquet, restaurant, and other culinary operations as business needs require.
Follow all resort safety procedures and departmental standards.
Qualifications
What We Are Looking For
Previous experience in a professional kitchen preferred.
Basic knowledge of cooking methods, food preparation, and kitchen equipment.
Ability to follow recipes, instructions, and established food quality standards.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Positive attitude, dependability, and willingness to learn.
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work in a hot kitchen environment.
Frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive hand movements.
