Description
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience. OR Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering or related work experience. OR PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field. 2+ years of academic or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc. 10-15 years of industry experience in embedded software, especially in the automotive domain Minimum 4 years' experience in ISO26262 (Part 6 in specific) Experience in functional safety software architecture in Automotive Domain: Safety software architecture specification, Safety Requirements definition, safety software development Experience in defining Software architecture, Software Design and implementation of Embedded software for Automotive SoCs Ideal candidate for this position is someone who has experience in both software architecture and safety architecture with a background in design and implementation Experience in Safety Analysis (FMEA, DFA, FTA) Experience in leading safety arch activities of complex SoC software. Experience in leading safety arch activities for ADAS/AD software Experience with complete SDLC and related processes Experience with tools for static analysis, code coverage Experience in leading stakeholder engagements within development organization, partners, and customers is highly desirable Experience in functional safety management in Automotive Domain: Safety software architecture specification, Safety Requirements definition, safety software development, Safety plan, Safety execution and leadership Experience with complete SDLC and related processes. Experience with tools for static analysis, code coverage Experience/exposure to SOTIF is good to have Knowledge of Software Architecture and design tools and languages (UML/SysML) Knowledge and experience of ASPICE or equivalent Quality standards Functional Safety related trainings/certifications Experience in supporting customers/OEMs in functional safety and system safety concepts Experience in functional safety audits Experience in supporting customers/OEMs in functional safety and system safety concepts
