Description
Develop image quality evaluation systems to measure IQ metrics for various camera applications. Overall, the candidate needs to be experienced in the areas of embedded firmware/software development. More specifically, the selected candidate should: (1) Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline, with at least 3 years of experience in software engineering, systems engineering, or a comparable role. (2) Hands-on experience with AEC/AWB, color science and theory, and related image processing algorithms is required. (3) Solid understanding of camera systems and image quality evaluation metrics. (4) Proficiency in C/C++, Python, and MATLAB for research and development activities. (5) Strong analytical thinking skills with a proven ability to solve complex technical problems. Experience required in following areas but not limited to (1) Familiarity with both objective and subjective image quality assessment methodologies. (2) Experience with Snapdragon 2A and ISP is a plus. (3) Background in image processing algorithms, image sensor characteristics, and optical system design. (4) Background in computer vision, machine learning, sensor and color calibration, and Android development is a strong plus. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience. OR Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Systems Engineering or related work experience. OR PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
