Key Responsibilities:
The Senior Technical Project Manager (PM) is responsible for leading and delivering complex, cross-functional privacy technology and compliance implementation initiatives involving applications, data workflows, integrations, system controls, and regulatory requirements. This role partners closely with Legal, Compliance, IT, Security, and business stakeholders to translate regulatory requirements into technical requirements, implementation plans, privacy controls, and enterprise-wide privacy technology solutions. The Senior PM ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with strategic objectives while promoting privacy-by-design through technical solution analysis, implementation strategy, and validation of privacy controls.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end technical delivery of large-scale compliance initiatives involving privacy systems, application functionality, data workflows, and technical controls, including CCPA, CPRA, AADC, ADA, and related requirements
- Coordinate cross-functional technical, Legal, Compliance, Security, and business teams to ensure successful execution of privacy technology and compliance implementation projects
- Drive implementation of privacy controls, frameworks, and processes across applications, data platforms, integrations, and business workflows
- Translate privacy regulations, internal policies, and industry standards into technical requirements and validate that application functionality and system implementations align with those requirements
- Develop and maintain detailed technical implementation plans, project plans, schedules, sequencing, and dependency maps for privacy technology initiatives
- Track technical implementation progress, manage technical and project risks, and proactively resolve architecture, integration, data, and system dependencies
- Support budget planning and variance review for assigned privacy technology initiatives by assessing how financial changes affect technical scope, implementation options, sequencing, and delivery risk
- Create clear, concise status reports, dashboards, and executive presentations communicating technical implementation progress, solution dependencies, architecture impacts, technical risks, milestones, and outcomes
- Build strong working relationships with executive leadership, Legal, Compliance, IT, Security, and business stakeholders to align privacy requirements with technical solution design and implementation priorities
- Communicate technical project status, implementation risks, architecture impacts, dependencies, and outcomes effectively to all levels of the organization
- Drive coordination across multiple technical workstreams, including application, data, integration, security, testing, release, and compliance validation activities
- Identify and assess privacy, technical, data, integration, and project risks affecting implementation of privacy solutions
- Develop mitigation strategies, contingency plans, and alternative technical solution approaches to address privacy, architecture, integration, and delivery risks
- Ensure technical audit readiness by maintaining implementation evidence, system control documentation, traceability, and support for internal/external compliance assessments
- Review, refine, and validate complex business, privacy, and technical requirements and translate them into a clear, prioritized backlog with functional specifications, technical acceptance criteria, and implementation dependencies
- Analyze application architecture, data flows, system integrations, consent management workflows, data subject rights workflows, and data handling processes to support privacy-by-design implementation
- Review technical design documentation for privacy control implementation and identify gaps in application functionality, data workflows, integrations, and system controls.
- Ensure end-to-end traceability between privacy requirements, technical specifications, test cases, implementation artifacts, and validated system controls.
- Evaluate alternative technical solutions and recommend implementation approaches for privacy controls, privacy tooling, workflow automation, and system integrations
- Identify process and system improvement opportunities and drive efficiency across privacy initiatives through improved workflows, automation, technical controls, and scalable implementation approaches
- Establish and standardize privacy technology implementation practices, technical documentation standards, traceability methods, and project management practices supporting consistent delivery of privacy solutions
- Manage release and post-launch activities end to end, including implementation readiness, technical validation, defect triage, privacy control verification, and support for production systems as needed
- Define release readiness and validation criteria for privacy-related application changes, system integrations, and data workflow updates
- Ensure successful rollout, adoption, operational readiness, and technical sustainability of implemented privacy solutions

Required Qualifications:
- IS related bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent work experience.
- 7-10+ years of IT work experience
- Proven experience leading business and technical requirements analysis, documentation, and validation for complex IT projects and cross-functional initiatives
- Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid)
- Strong understanding of compliance regulations and their practical application to IT systems, application functionality, data workflows, and privacy controls
- Proven experience leading large, cross-functional, and complex technology implementation initiatives
- Demonstrated experience managing technical delivery timelines, implementation governance, dependencies, and budgets for complex IT initiatives
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
- Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Advanced ability to research requirements, analyze technical and operational impact, evaluate alternatives, and recommend solutions for complex privacy technology problems
- Experience implementing, configuring, or integrating privacy tools, such as OneTrust or similar platforms
- Knowledge of data governance, information security, privacy engineering, or risk management frameworks
- Experience with Jira/Confluence tools to manage technical requirements, backlog, implementation artifacts, delivery dependencies, and release documentation
- Strong proficiency in project management and reporting tools, including MS Project, JIRA, Smartsheet, and Power BI, to manage technical delivery plans, dependencies, dashboards, and implementation reporting
- Ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into actionable technical requirements, implementation plans, privacy controls, and system validation criteria
