Description
Service, clean and perform minor maintenance on fuel station pumps and equipment; repair and troubleshoot pump failures and perform a variety of other tasks related to area of assignment.

One (1) year general equipment or automotive maintenance experience preferred.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Possession of a valid New Mexico Driver's License, or the ability to obtain by date of hire.
Possession of a City Operator's Permit (COP) within six (6) months from date of hire.
When assigned to General Services Department:
Class C Fuel Operator Certification within six (6) months from date of hire.
Forklift Certification within six (6) months from date of hire.Environmental:
Shop environment; exposure to noise, dust, grease, smoke, fumes, gases and outside climate.
Physical:
Essential and supplemental functions may require maintaining physical condition necessary for heavy, moderate or light lifting and carrying; bending, stooping, kneeling, pulling, crawling; standing for prolonged periods; operating motorized equipment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Essentialfunctions may include, but are not limited to the functions listed below. Mustbe able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without areasonable accommodation.
- Inspect and perform minor maintenance, repairs and adjustments on a variety of fuel pumps and dispensing equipment.
- Take inventory of fuels, order and receive fuel, lubricants and supply deliveries; maintain all appropriate fuel station records.
- Monitor fuel, diesel exhaust fluids and lubricant usage; grease and lubricate fuel station pumps and equipment.
- Perform general custodial duties; maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Adhere to safe work practices and procedures.
- Perform monthly inspection of designated sites using inspection form.
- Monitor all designated sites and inform supervisor of all repairs, alarms or issues.
- Assist parts room as needed.
- Perform related duties and responsibilities as required.
