Description
River Street Endodontics is a boutique specialty clinic in the Corktown Area. We are seeking a part-time dental assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate should be reliable, kind, and possess strong work ethic and a passion for learning, endodontics, and patient-care.
Qualifications:
- Level I and Level II Diploma.
- IPAC, CPR and WHMIS up-to-date.
- Live in the downtown core or within reasonable commute.
- Provincial Certification required for a long-term position.
- Excellent communication and strong organization skills.
- Understanding of IPAC and sterilization procedures.
- Confident using a computer including email and dental software.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare instruments and materials.
- Sterilize equipment and maintain IPAC standards.
- Take diagnostic endodontic radiographs including shift shots and position patient for CBCT.
- Transcribe doctor notes and sent out post op letters and scans.
- Manage inventory and ordering.
- Keep clinical areas organized and clean.
- Complete comfort calls and assist admins when there are no patients.
Compensation: $22-25/HR to start. Health Spending Account, Scrubs provided, and 3 paid sick days. Hourly compensation to be evaluated after the probationary period.
Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 9-6:30 pm
Part-time with the flexibility to grow into a full time position once trained.
