The Role

As a Data Scientist at Kyndryl you are the bridge between business problems and innovative solutions, using a powerful blend of well-defined methodologies, statistics, mathematics, domain expertise, consulting, and software engineering. You'll wear many hats, and each day will present a new puzzle to solve, a new challenge to conquer.

You will dive deep into the heart of our business, understanding its objectives and requirements – viewing them through the lens of business acumen, and converting this knowledge into a data problem. You’ll collect and explore data, seeking underlying patterns and initial insights that will guide the creation of hypotheses.

Your expertise doesn't stop at data; you'll become intimately familiar with our business processes and have the ability to navigate their complexities, identifying issues and crafting solutions that drive meaningful change in these domains. You will develop and apply standards and policies that protect our organization's most valuable asset – ensuring that data is secure, private, accurate, available, and, most importantly, usable. Your mastery extends to data management, migration, strategy, change management, and policy and regulation.

Key Responsibilities

- Define and execute data science strategy aligned to business objectives and KPIs

- Lead and mentor data scientists and analysts

-Drive workforce transformation and modernization initiatives aligned with business strategy and operating model evolution

-Establish modeling, analytics, and governance best practices

- Design KPI frameworks for WF optimization, utilization, NPS, revenue and other operational metrics

- Build and scale Power BI dashboards and reporting ecosystems

- Deliver agentic AI solutions to automate workflows

- Translate complex analytics into business insights for executives

Qualifications - Required

- Advanced data analysis and statistical modeling expertise

- Experience in developing and managing forecasting models across: 

• Revenue planning
• Utilization optimization
• Workforce (WF) supply and demand balancing

- Strong Power BI experience (dashboards, semantic models, KPI reporting)

- Experience with agentic AI or AI-driven workflow automation

- Deep understanding of delivery/professional services KPIs (demand/supply, utilization, NPS, revenue)

- Strong executive communication skills

- Experience building enterprise data governance frameworks

The compensation range for the position in the U.S. is $215,640 to $409,800 based on a full-time schedule.  Your actual compensation may vary depending on your geography, job-related skills and experience.  For part time roles, the compensation will be adjusted appropriately. The pay or salary range will not be below any applicable state, city or local minimum wage requirement.
