Hourly Wage: $24.71

About the Role: 
Performs a wide range of administrative, bookkeeping, operational, and security functions in support of correctional facility operations. Key responsibilities include maintaining accurate inmate records; processing legal documents and court orders; handling inmate funds and financial transactions; providing customer service; and ensuring adherence to legal and procedural standards. 
  • Processes inmate funds, bond payments, and work release fees; issues checks or vouchers for inmate release; and balances and reconciles accounts, cash, and receipts. Generates reports and statistics. 
  • Processes and maintains inmate files, logs, and records.  
  • Responds to inquiries from the public, attorneys, law enforcement, and other agencies in person and via phone. 
  • Processes and verifies court orders, warrants, complaints, and legal documents through various systems. Sets court appearances. 
  • Enforces facility access procedures, screens, documents, and monitors visitor entry, and supports facility safety through alert communications. Accepts and reviews incoming materials, property, documents, and monies into the facility.   
  • Makes determinations on the release of inmates according to court orders. Conducts warrant checks for visitors and inmates to be released. 
  • Provides general administrative assistance deputies and command staff; schedules appointments and maintains daily records. 
  • Operates a variety of computerized records and communications systems. 
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.  
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of administrative support or bookkeeping experience required. 
  • Legal or law enforcement experience preferred. 
Sunday - Thursday (Friday/Saturday off) 
12:00 - 8:00 a.m.
