How You’ll Shine
As Chef, you will responsible for preparing, producing and presenting superior quality food in a timely and professional manner as directed by the Executive Chef. You will place the highest importance on food safety and hygiene with food preparation and presentation to ensure our Owners and guests dining in onsite.
What You’ll Bring
To be considered for this great opportunity you will be able to demonstrate the following:
- 2 years’ experience as a Chef or similar position, within a resort/hotel environment
- Relevant trade qualifications
- Thorough understanding of the principles of food safety and hygiene of food preparation
- Innovative and have passion for preparing high quality restaurant meals, with the ability to produce and create menus
- Display an open friendly manner and positive attitude and team spirit.
- Great attention to detail with an excellent ability to multi-task and prioritise varying work demands and work load
- Demonstrate ability to work unsupervised in a pressured environment
- Display excellent people, communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work a flexible roster, including nights, weekends, school and public holiday periods
