Lactalis US Yogurt, part of the Lactalis family of companies, is currently hiring a Plant Custodian based in Casa Grande, Arizona.
The Plant Custodian is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized manufacturing environment. The position performs routine cleaning and sanitation duties throughout the plan, offices, breakrooms, restrooms, locker rooms, and common areas to support operational efficiency, employee safety, and regulatory compliance.
This is a full-time opportunity on an 8-hour shift Monday through Friday with occasional weekends as needed.

From your EXPERTISE to ours
Key responsibilities for this position include:
- Clean and sanitize production areas, offices, conference rooms, break rooms, restrooms, locker areas, and common spaces.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and remove debris from floors and work areas.
- Empty trash, recycling, and scrap containers and dispose of waste properly.
- Clean windows, doors, walls, lockers, and other facility surfaces.
- Restock restroom, breakrooms, and janitorial supplies.
- Maintain cleanliness of exterior areas, including entrances, walkways, and parking lots.
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment such as vacuums, pressure washers, and other custodial tools.
- Report maintenance, safety, or facility issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Support plan housekeeping initiatives and workplace organization programs.
- Complete cleaning schedules and maintain records as required.
- Communicate with other team members to ensure efficient plant operations.
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and environmental regulations.
- Assist with facility setup and cleanup for meetings, events, audits, or inspections.
- Perform minor maintenance related tasks as assigned.
- Expected to perform any duties necessary to support the team.
From your STORY to ours
Qualified applicants will contribute the following:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous custodial, janitorial, housekeeping, or industrial cleaning experience preferred.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and safe handling practices.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Reliable attendance and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all unites of measurement, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Experience working in a manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial environment, preferred.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety practices and housekeeping standards, preferred.
- Work Environment and Physical Demands:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Frequently bending, stooping, kneeling, lifting, and reaching.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Occasionally, life and or move up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Ability to ush and pull cleaning equipment and carts.
- Ability to work in varying temperatures conditions and around manufacturing equipment.
- Ability to have full range of body motion and close vision.
- Exposure to dust, noise, cleaning chemicals, and moving equipment
- Required use of personal protective equipment as applicable.
