Environmental Health & Safety Manager

Responsibilities

Position Responsibilities:  

• The EHS Manager promotes and facilitates a work environment that supports a safe and healthy culture identifying best practices and leading continuous improvement initiative to reduce work process risk

• This role provides technical advice, coaching, and mentoring to employees on safety initiatives and coordination of team member training on hazardous condition monitoring and use of safety equipment

• You will support of EHS goals for the site manager and appropriate activity-based goals for the functional managers to drive EHS culture and results

• Additionally, you will support the execution of corporate sustainability strategies, engaging with key stakeholders on projects including investigating accidents and occupational injuries to determine causes and implement preventive measures

• Other duties as assigned 

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:  

• Bachelor's Degree with 5 to 7 years of related experience and 3 plus years of leadership experience or High School Diploma/General Education Diploma with 8 to 10 plus years of specific experience and 5 plus years of leadership experience
