Slitter Helper
We are seeking a dependable Slitter Helper to assist with the operation of steel slitting equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist slitter operator with setup and production runs
- Load and unload steel coils and finished material
- Band, package, and label finished products
- Inspect materials for quality issues
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Manufacturing experience preferred
- Ability to read a tape measure and micrometers
- Forklift or crane experience is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet
