Our client is a Sydney-based café and dessert franchise known for its specialty coffee, and other premium dessert offerings. The brand operates a growing franchise network across Australia and is recognized for delivering high-quality customer experiences.
The brand is growing rapidly with currently over 50 locations nationwide.
Our client is looking for an experienced and commercially focused Head of Franchise Operations to lead and support their growing franchise network. The successful candidate will bring at least 10 years of senior leadership experience within a franchised business environment and will play a key role in translating company objectives into operational excellence. This position is responsible for strengthening brand standards, supporting franchise partners, and driving sustainable performance, consistency, and expansion across multiple locations.
This role will be based in the Head Office in Sydney and will require extensive travel for site visits and to build relationships with franchisees.
For this position, both Expats and Australian Nationals are being considered.
Profile
• Prior experience at Franchise head office level
• Minimum of 10 years experience in a Franchise environment
• Multi site operational management experience
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Solid understanding of P&L management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Hands on and proactive approach
• Well organized and detail oriented
• Strong knowledge of food and labor cost control
• Experience driving operational performance
• Familiar with compliance and brand standards
• Commercially focused and results-driven
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
• Able to work under pressure
• Flexible working hours
• Ability and willingness to travel
