Description
The Chatham County Facilities Maintenance department is seeking an organized and analytical Facilities Maintenance Analyst to join their team. This role plays a key part in automating and maintaining the County's facilities database, ensuring smooth operations and efficient maintenance scheduling.
Under the Superintendent of Facilities Maintenance and Operations,
- Performs a variety of duties and functions that support the automation and the database maintenance of the County’s facilities, including initiating and maintaining the effective use of the Automated Maintenance Management System (AMMS).
- Tracks, files, plans, schedules, and organizes all areas of the County’s facilities maintenance.
- Schedules preventative maintenance.
- Tracks Man Hours, and costs, vendor costs, and performance.
- Provides staff performance data and Work Order Status and various other reports.
- Provides startup and continuous training for all AMMS users.
- Responds to requests in a courteous and timely manner.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED, and
- College-level courses in business, and
- At least three (3) years of experience in facility maintenance operation, including two (2) years of experience in a facility maintenance administrative environment; or
- Any equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Must be skilled in the application and maintenance of complex software.
Preferred Qualifications:
- AMMS knowledge and experience.
Additional Qualifications:
- Must possess effective oral and written communication skills, both technical and non-technical.
- Must be able to prepare and present accurate and reliable reports.
- Must be able to understand and follow oral and/or written policies, procedures, and instructions.
- Must be able to perform duties with accuracy and speed under the pressure of time-sensitive deadlines.
