Role
Amanyara invites you to join our team in Turks and Caicos, as a Bar Manager. With a deep commitment to Aman’s philosophy of exceptional service, you will play a key role in leading a dynamic and talented bar team, creating seamless guest experiences, offering thoughtful, intuitive hospitality in an atmosphere of understated elegance. This hands-on role reports to the Director of Food & Beverage and requires you to be innovative, charismatic and driven.
Responsibilities
Oversee the day-to-day operation of the Bar, including special events.
Maintain the service standards which Aman are renowned for.
Working closely with the Director of Beverage, develop and implement menu changes based on creativity, quality and cost efficiency.
Manage staff recruitment, training and performance, ensuring a well-trained, motivate team.
Monitor guest satisfaction through reviews and feedback and implement improvements as needed.
Ensure compliance with health, safety and hygiene regulations in all outlets.
Control beverage inventories to minimize waste and control cost.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
Plan and execute events and promotions, including mixology classes, wine tastings and seasonal beverage experiences.
Drive revenue through strategic planning, upselling and innovative service concepts.
Requirements
2-3 years’ experience in a similar position within a luxury hospitality environment or a World renowned bar.
Strong knowledge of beverage, including wine and cocktails.
Proficiency in English is essential, and any additional languages are a strong asset.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to provide a personalized guest experience.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism.
Creativity and trend awareness in beverage and service innovations.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle guest inquiries or concerns with tact and efficiency.
