EXECUTIVE, TECHNOLOGY SERVICES

SUMMARY OF DUTIES
Reports to HOS, providing hardware and software maintenance, training, consultation, and recommendations for future planning and resource development. Delivering these services in an effective and efficient manner ensures maximum access to and optimal implementation of technology services and resources.

MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Information Technology Services
1.    Shall be responsible on the management of services and organization;
2.    Support end-users on matters / problems concerning the Hospital system software i.e. KCIS2, HITS2, PACS etc., PC software, other system integration and IT hardware / devices;
3.    Able to relate data-flow between the modules in the Application Systems and understandings the inter-module integration;
4.    Run maintenance and troubleshooting all hardware and system efficiency and updates;
5.    Responsible for the network (LAN) system maintenance in the building;
6.    Responsible for the reference data maintenance, updating and security of the overall Hospital Information System application and other software;
7.    Abide with on-call scheduled by the HOS;
8.    Plays role as a team with other staff on department operation;
9.    Monitor backup and maintenance on daily services operation;
10.    Prepare document and other relevant document or report of the services performance and other operational activities;
11.    Liaise with vendor for any change or additional in all services operation as requested by HOS;
12.    Plan and implement process of any new or enhanced system to fulfill the new IT requirements and project improvement;
13.    Maintain close rapport and cooperation with consultants, internal and external parties;
14.    To carry out duties with full responsibilities and ensure all instruction and regulation is not contradict with Top Management policies and procedure;
15.    Ensure to actively participate in all quality initiatives and activities initiated by the HOS and the organization;
16.    To perform any other duties as and when required by the HOS and The Management;
17.    Adopt the policies and procedures of ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004, OHSAS 18001:2007, Malaysian Hospital Accreditation Standards;

OSH Act and Regulation 1994
1.    Responsible and accountable to carry out duties as an employee as stipulated in Occupational Safety & Health Act and Regulation 1994;
2.    To take reasonable care and work for the safety of him/herself and team members;
3.    To co-operate with the employer or any other person in the discharge of any duty;
4.    To comply with any instruction or measure on OSH Act & Regulation 1994.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
1.    Minimum qualification with Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology 
2.    Possess positive attitude 
3.    IT literate with knowledge of Microsoft Windows
4.    Knowledge in LAN environment setup
5.    Knowledge in Project Management
6.    Knowledge in Database Management
7.    Knowledge in Information Technology Infrastructure
8.    Knowledge in Process Management
9.    Knowledge in various computer platforms
10.    Ability to work independently, self-motivated and result oriented
11.    Good written and communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia & English Language are essential
12.    Good Interpersonal skill and able to interact with staffs at all levels

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• 3 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and work related experience.

• Preferably with relevant experience in Hospital / Healthcare business or an equivalent combination of education and work related experience.
