Description
Our client is a well-established meat manufacturer that is experiencing unprecedented growth in both retail and foodservice. We are helping them to identify an experienced and knowledgeable R&D Manager who will be responsible for managing multiple projects around innovation, process improvement, and specifications. The talented individual will lead the New Product Process, including ideas from product conception through final commercialization. This person will be charged with growing a team managing and mentoring a team of Food Technologists at multiple locations.

Qualifications
- 5+ years of product development experience within the food industry
- Prior R&D experience working with meat products, preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, solve problems, prioritize multiple projects, issues and inquiries
- Strong project management skills
- Bachelor's Degree in food science, biology, nutrition, or a related field is required
