Description
Position Overview
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including history and physical exams.
- Diagnose and manage rheumatologic conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, gout, and osteoarthritis.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including labs and imaging.
- Develop and implement treatment plans, including biologic and DMARD therapies.
- Provide patient education on disease management and medications.
- Monitor treatment response and adjust care plans as needed.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR system.
- Active Texas Nurse Practitioner license.
- Board certification (FNP, ANP, or AGNP).
- Minimum 1–2 years of rheumatology experience preferred.
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.
- Experience with biologic therapies and infusion protocols is a plus.
- Average of 15 - 20 patients per day.
