Overview

As a Battery Engineering Technician at Pivotal, you'll work in a fast-paced eVTOL startup environment, building and validating battery prototypes from cell through pack level. You'll collaborate closely with battery engineers on testing and characterization, rework parts and assemblies as needed, and ensure safety protocols are followed. This hands-on role requires strong attention to detail, adaptability, and a safety-first mindset. You must be eligible for US employment and willing to work onsite at the Palo Alto headquarters.

About the job:

We are looking for a hands-on Battery Engineering Technician to join our battery team in a fast-paced eVTOL startup environment. You will work closely with battery engineers to build, test, and characterize cells, modules, and packs — from prototype builds through validation. Strong attention to detail, a safety-first mindset, and adaptability are essential.
