Overview
As a Backend Engineer at Wahed, you'll play a key role in building, maintaining, designing, and implementing new microservices while improving our existing Python and Golang services. You'll work closely with product managers and engineers to build backend solutions, tackle defects, improve system architecture for robustness and security, and contribute to automated testing efforts. We're looking for candidates with at least 5 years of commercial backend development experience, preferably in Python and/or Golang, with experience in SQL/NoSQL databases and AWS.

Job Brief:
We are looking for Backend Engineers to join our Engineering team. As a team member, you will play a role in building, maintaining, designing, and implementing new microservices and improving our existing Python and Golang services. Along with product development and improving the infrastructure, engineers are given the opportunity to innovate, experiment and try out new technologies.
Building product and innovative features is a highly collaborative effort, and as such, a strong team player with a commitment to perfection is required. We are looking for candidates that are self-motivated and eager to learn new technologies, work well both within a team and on their own, and have an attention to detail.
