Description

Overview

MTF Biologics processes tissue grafts from human donors that are used in a growing array of clinical applications – positively affecting lives across the globe. As a global nonprofit organization that saves and heals lives by honoring donated gifts and serving patients, we collaborate with the medical, scientific, as well as organ and tissue donation communities.

Our goal is simple–do what's right for patients, surgeons, tissue donors, and their families through our guiding principles.

Focus on strategic projects, aimed at improving equipment safety and process efficiency. Apply expertise and knowledge to improve and maintain complex critical systems and equipment utilized in the production of HTC/P and medical devices. Conceptualize, develop, implement, validate, and optimize equipment and tooling to achieve scale, stability, effectiveness, and safety of current manufacturing processes. Serve as a technical liaison between PE, R&D, and Processing Operations, to develop or improve processes in parallel with New Tissue development. Demonstrate significant influence within the department to improve department efficiency, by standardizing engineering approaches to problem solving, equipment validation requirements and other process engineering methods. The Senior Equipment Engineer requires limited direction, is self-organized, and can make independent decisions. The Senior Engineer mentors and guides junior equipment engineers.
