Housekeeping Manager – Makkah/Jeddah | Healthcare

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Housekeeping Manager to lead housekeeping and environmental services across healthcare facilities in Makkah and Jeddah.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in hospital or large-scale hospitality housekeeping operations, with a solid understanding of infection prevention, healthcare hygiene, QHSE, and patient safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead housekeeping operations across hospitals in Makkah and Jeddah.
- Manage and develop housekeeping supervisors and teams.
- Ensure high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, infection prevention, and patient experience.
- Establish and standardize housekeeping procedures, cleaning protocols, and service standards.
- Oversee housekeeping services across patient, clinical, public, and administrative areas.
- Manage linen services, housekeeping supplies, equipment, and external contractors.
- Coordinate with nursing, medical, infection prevention, and other support departments.
- Conduct regular inspections, audits, and performance reviews.
- Monitor KPIs and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage staffing, workforce planning, scheduling, and operational budgets.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare quality, safety, QHSE, and accreditation standards.
- Support new hospital openings and operational readiness.
- Prepare operational and KPI reports for management.
- Identify and implement corrective actions for operational and safety issues.
- Escalate critical risks that may affect patient care or hospital operations.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Facility Management, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing housekeeping operations in hospitals, healthcare facilities, or large hospitality environments.
- Previous healthcare/hospital experience is highly preferred.
- Proven experience managing large housekeeping teams and operational performance.
- Strong knowledge of housekeeping operations, infection prevention, and healthcare hygiene standards.
- Knowledge of QHSE and hospital accreditation standards.
- Strong leadership, planning, reporting, and communication skills.
- Fluent in Arabic and English.
- GCC experience is an advantage.
- Experience managing female staff accommodation is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel between Makkah and Jeddah as required.
