Department Overview

Support the MSI products regulatory certification across difference regions such as North Ameria, Latin Ameria, EMEA & APAC.

Job Description

• Provide consultation on Regulatory  certification to SMEs, DE, PM, PDM, Prod Ops,  Regulatory Coordinator and Regulatory Admin
• Collaborate with the internal stakeholders to implement Regulatory related decision.
• Stay abreast on the latest requirement from authority and assess the potential impact (with SMEs) to the product.
• To interpret and understand the regulatory requirement and communicate to the organization (PDM, PM and DE)
• Review the filing document/package to ensure it meet the country’s requirement .
• Liaise with In Country authority and third party to get certification; submit package, respond to the inquiry, followup to ensure meet the requirement. 
• Proactively identify the risk and the mitigation plan.
• Resolve market surveillance issue. 
• Working with government affairs and industrial association on conflicting regulatory matters (lobbying).
• Participate in the Regulatory  workshop

Basic Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering
• Strong basic electronics knowledge
• Knowledge of regulatory standards for  EMC, RF and Product Safety isa plus.  
• Perform product testing and generating test report 
• Work with design engineering on test planning and test failure debugging.
• Able to interpret technical test standards and technical documents

• Strong basic electronic & test equipment knowledge
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Able to clearly articulate thoughts and ideas
