- Develop risk-based testing approaches that identify operational edge cases, failure modes, and system vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure alignment with requirements and program milestones.
- Lead root cause investigations of complex field and validation failures, utilizing logs, telemetry, system diagnostics, and structured troubleshooting methods to drive corrective actions.
- Validate autonomous navigation, docking, charging, payload handling, fleet management, and safety-related behaviors across lab and customer deployment environments.
- Maintain traceability between requirements, test cases, and results using industry‑standard tools.
- Develop and maintain automated test frameworks, diagnostic tools, and data analysis solutions to improve test coverage, repeatability, and execution efficiency.
- Analyze test results, identify root causes, assess product risks, and clearly communicate validation status and release readiness.
What you should bring to this role:
- Bachelor's in Systems, Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent work experience required.
- 7+ years of experience in robotics, automotive, aerospace, industrial automation, or similar fields.
- Strong understanding of robotic sensors, including LiDAR, cameras, localization systems, and safety scanners.
- Familiarity with robot navigation, perception, controls, and fleet management systems.
- Hands‑on experience with system‑level testing of complex electromechanical or robotics systems.
- Familiarity with requirements management and test case traceability tools (e.g., TestRail, DOORS, Jama).
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, particularly in integrated HW/SW environments.
- Experience with Agile development practices and issue‑tracking tools such as JIRA
