Barista

The Coffee Bar serves specialty coffees, and food. All baristas need to show good hospitality, ready to greet each guest in a genuinely friendly manner. As experts on the product, the baristas will answer guest questions and consistently serve excellent beverages and food.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

•  Report to work as scheduled, on time, well-groomed and dressed in proper uniform.
•  Greet and serve guests in a prompt, friendly, professional way.
•  Take drink and food orders promptly and prepare them according to guest preferences.
•  Answer guest questions regarding recipes and ingredients.
•  Fill all food orders and communicate with kitchen on par levels.
•  Receive and process payments quickly and accurately.
•  Handle customer complaints in a calm, courteous manner. Inform supervisor of any customer complaints or suggestions.
•  Restock service areas.
•  Keep service areas clean and complete all assigned cleaning tasks.
•  Respond quickly to safety, cleanliness, and sanitation issues.
•  Perform all side work in a timely manner.
•  Perform any other tasks as assigned by the manager.

General Physical Demands for the Position:

• Baristas will regularly stand for long periods of time, bend, stoop, turn, lift, walk, and carry and lift up to fifty (50) pounds.
