Job Description:

The Real Estate Investment Analyst is responsible for the analysis of Ryan-owned and developed projects and the underwriting and analysis of potential acquisitions while supporting the Senior Vice President (SVP), Vice President (VP) and Directors in managing the capital markets needs for assets from inception to final disposition and acquisitions. This position also supports Asset Management and Portfolio Management.


To be successful in this role, you must have at least 1 year of financial analysis experience related to commercial real estate transactions, including a solid understanding of the strengths and challenges of real estate projects. A bachelor's degree (or equivalent) is required. You must be able to develop strong relationships & work both independently and on a team. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail are required.
 

Some things you can expect to do:

Financial Analysis

  • Interpret and apply information in loan and sale documents.
  • Strong working knowledge of Argus.
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel, including the ability to model complex financial structures.
  • Model real estate issues and cash flows using appropriate tools.
  • Evaluate and project cash flows for Ryan Funds.

Packaging/Data Gathering

  • Synthesize an executive summary for an investment offering.
  • Gather, document and archive financial analysis information.
  • Interpret lease agreements.
  • Provide analysis and support to the process of generating high-end investment offerings.
  • Work with venture partners to provide analysis and information.
  • Help prepare Ryan Fund reports.

Process Management Related Responsibilities

  • Understands and provides support for crafting and articulation of the "story of why" for the development and disposition of real estate assets.
  • Understand and provide support to manage broker interactions and relationships.

Capital Market Responsibilities

  • Analysis and support of developing and maintaining strong relationships with representatives of capital market providers and investment bankers.
  • Support of targeted marketing of investment properties for sale.

Compensation:

The base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills and abilities.
