Job Summary**

We are seeking a skilled and experienced IND Staff Engineer specializing in Guidewire to join our team at Hartford Global Services Private Limited. This role involves the design, development, and maintenance of Guidewire applications, ensuring high-quality solutions and adherence to best practices.

Job Responsibilities**

* Design, develop, and implement Guidewire PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and/or BillingCenter solutions, including configuration, integration, and data migration.
* Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
* Perform code reviews, unit testing, and support system integration testing to ensure solution quality and performance.
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Guidewire applications, providing timely and effective solutions.
* Participate in the full software development life cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, deployment, and support.
* Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and standards.
* Stay up-to-date with the latest Guidewire releases, features, and industry best practices.
* Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for Guidewire solutions.
* Work effectively in an Agile development environment.

Job Qualifications**

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
* Minimum of 6+ years of experience in Guidewire development and implementation (PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, or BillingCenter).
* Strong proficiency in GOSU, Java, XML, and SQL.
* Extensive experience with Guidewire configuration (e.g., Data Model, UI, Business Rules, Workflow, Product Model).
* Experience with Guidewire integration technologies (e.g., Web Services, Messaging, Plugins).
* Familiarity with various Guidewire accelerators and frameworks.
* Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
* Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
* Guidewire certification(s) preferred.
* Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
