JOB SUMMARY:

The Division Logistics Manager is responsible for overseeing all logistics operations within an assigned division, ensuring efficient transportation, distribution, and inventory management that supports 7-Eleven's demand chain objectives. This role manages day-to-day logistics activities, optimizes supply chain performance, and drives cost-effective solutions while maintaining high service levels to stores. The Division Logistics Manager collaborates closely with 3PL partners, warehouse operations, transportation teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure seamless product flow and delivery execution. This position plays a critical role in supporting business growth through strategic logistics planning and operational excellence.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide overall leadership and oversight of logistics operations within the assigned zone, ensuring alignment with Demand Chain strategy and achievement of established business objectives.
  • Lead the performance management of CDC operators, wholesalers, and other logistics partners, holding partners accountable for service levels, operational standards, contractual commitments, and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor and improve key service and quality measures, including on-time delivery, fill rate, delivery execution, and other indicators that impact product availability and store service.
  • Conduct regular business and performance reviews with logistics partners, identify performance gaps and trends, and develop corrective action plans with clear ownership and follow-through.
  • Monitor logistics expenses and partner costs, support budget and forecast processes, and identify and implement opportunities to improve productivity, reduce costs, and optimize overall network performance.
  • Drive a strong safety culture and monitor partner safety performance while identifying opportunities to improve operational consistency, productivity, compliance, and execution.
  • Lead the resolution of complex or recurring operational, service, and store issues by identifying root causes and coordinating cross-functional resources and logistics partners to implement sustainable solutions.
  • Use operational and performance data to identify trends and opportunities, facilitate root cause analysis, and lead continuous improvement initiatives that improve reliability, quality, safety, and expense performance.
  • Support and lead the implementation of strategic Demand Chain initiatives, including new processes, systems, technology, and operating models, ensuring operational readiness and successful execution across the zone.
  • Partner closely with Demand Chain, Operations, Merchandising, Finance, Technology, and other stakeholders to align priorities, resolve issues, and develop logistics solutions that support overall business objectives.
  • Provide clear and concise communication to internal leadership and logistics partners regarding performance, emerging risks, operational trends, key initiatives, and improvement opportunities.
  • Establish clear priorities and accountability for team members while coaching and developing capabilities in partner management, operational problem-solving, continuous improvement, and cross-functional leadership.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field

YEARS OF RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE: 5+ years

YEARS OF MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE: 2+ years

CERTIFICATIONS / LICENSES: NA

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

  • Strong knowledge of transportation management, warehouse operations, and distribution center processes
  • Advanced analytical skills with expertise in Excel, data analysis, and performance metrics reporting
  • Excellent project management abilities with experience leading cross-functional initiatives and process improvement projects
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, analyzing cost structures, and implementing cost-saving strategies
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with ability to influence and collaborate across all organizational levels
  • Proven leadership capabilities with track record of building high-performing teams and developing talent
  • Strategic thinking combined with hands-on operational problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of convenience store or retail distribution operations preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Experience with continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma preferred

Pay: $60,000.00 -$112,500.00 Annual
