We are actively recruiting for a Supplier Engineer IV to join our Santa Clara Quality and Reliability Engineering team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage quality performance for RF/process power and sensor repair and refurbishment suppliers, including performance monitoring, issue escalation, and continuous improvement follow-up. Proliferate the solutions and improvements in supplier manufacturing site to repair/service sites.
- Leads the supplier technical audit process, evaluates supplier performance and capabilities, and drives continuous improvement opportunities at the supplier site. Trains other supplier engineers on the supplier audit and evaluation process.
- Leads quality problem resolutions and incident management, drive root cause and correction action. Identifies and drives broad-based systemic supplier resolutions at the process level.
- Lead supplier quality reviews, audits, and improvement plans to strengthen supplier execution, reduce defects, and improve overall quality performance
- Continuous involvement in the Supplier Selection Process to develop a supply base that provides a competitive advantage in quality, value/cost, delivery, and technology.
- Assist in cost planning by monitoring key cost drivers, supply markets, to ensure a competitive advantage.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical/electronic products, manufacturing processes, failure analysis, and reliability fundamentals.
- Proven experience in supplier quality engineering, technical audits, process capability assessments, and driving corrective actions through 8D and other root-cause methodologies.
- Expertise in RF power systems, power electronics, or related high-voltage/high-power applications.
- Experience in the semiconductor equipment, semiconductor, or advanced electronics industry is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively across engineering, operations, suppliers, and customers.

Salary Range:
$133,500.00 - $183,500.00
The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.
For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
