The Opportunity:
The Financial Automation & QA Analyst helps ensure the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of enterprise pricing, billing, and revenue operations through business intelligence, automation, financial analysis, and quality assurance.
Using tools such as Power BI, Qlik, Excel Power Query, Power Pivot, and other automation and AI technologies, this role develops financial models, validates pricing execution, identifies revenue risks, and provides actionable insights that support business performance. The analyst collaborates with Pricing, Client Growth, Finance, Accounting, Billing, Revenue Operations, and Product teams to ensure pricing strategies are accurately implemented and maintained across the revenue lifecycle. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented analytical problem solver who uses data, automation, and technology to improve financial outcomes and operational efficiency.
Day in the Life:
Process Automation and Transformation
- Design and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) pipelines to collect, clean, and integrate financial data from ERP systems, data lakes, and external sources using tools like Monarch, SQL, and Power BI.
- Automate data extraction, transformation, validation, and reporting processes to improve efficiency and scalability.
- Implementing automated workflows using Microsoft 365 tools such as Power Automate, Power Apps, and Power BI to reduce manual effort, improve accuracy, and enhance efficiency
- Support AI-enabled and rules-based automation initiatives focused on pricing validation, anomaly detection, and operational controls.
Financial Modeling & Pricing Analytics
- Develop and maintain financial models using Excel, Power BI, Qlik, and other analytical tools.
- Utilize models or AI to validate pricing assumptions against contracts, billing configurations, and invoiced activity.
- Support profitability, cost allocation, and revenue analyses through scalable data models and reporting.
- Maintain documentation of models, data transformations, and validation procedures to support governance and audit requirements.
Analytics & Continuous Improvement
- Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and performance metrics that provide insight into pricing, billing, and revenue operations.
- Perform ad hoc analyses and recommend process improvements that enhance pricing accuracy, billing efficiency, and reporting effectiveness.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in: Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
- One (1)+ year of experience in financial analysis, pricing analytics, revenue operations, billing analysis, business intelligence, or a related analytical field.
- Experience creating financial models, reporting tools, dashboards, or data-driven quality assurance processes.
- Experience analyzing large datasets and translating findings into actionable business insights.
- Experience in payments, fintech, financial services, SaaS, or technology industries preferred.
- Strong financial modeling and pricing analytics skills, with experience building scalable models, QA controls, and automated validation processes to support revenue operations.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power Query, Power Pivot, data modeling, and complex analytical functions.
- Hands-on experience with Power BI, Qlik, or other business intelligence and visualization platforms.
- Experience with automation technologies and data transformation tools such as Monarch Automator or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical thinking with demonstrated problem-solving and root-cause analysis capabilities.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and process integrity.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly present findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications and collaboration tools.
- Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Pay Equity
