Description
The role assembles and wires electrical modules, control cabinets, cables, sensors, and safety systems in accordance with electrical schematics, technical documentation, quality requirements, and applicable safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements:
- Do assembly of electrical modules and components according to technical documentation.
- Perform machine wiring, including installation of cables, sensors, and safety systems.
- Experience in electrical systems assembly.
- Assemble and wire electrical control cabinets.
- Knowledge of using electrical measurement tools.
- Read and properly understand electrical schematics and technical documentation
- Comply with safety procedures during the equipment assembly.
- Teamwork ability.
- Follow exactly the technical requirements and instructions to provide the expected quality of machines.
Experience / Qualifications
- Relevant work experience or knowledge of the role
- Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
- Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
- Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
General Responsibilities
- Assemble electrical modules, components, and subassemblies in accordance with technical documentation and build instructions.
- Perform machine wiring, including the installation and connection of cables, sensors, actuators, and safety devices.
- Assemble and wire electrical control cabinets and panels according to approved schematics and specifications.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, component specifications, and other technical documentation.
- Use electrical measurement tools and appropriate hand tools to support assembly, verification, and basic troubleshooting activities.
- Inspect completed work for correct installation, connection, routing, labelling, and workmanship.
- Follow technical instructions, quality standards, and defined assembly processes to support reliable equipment performance.
- Comply with company safety requirements and maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Work effectively with technicians, engineers, and other team members to complete equipment builds to agreed quality and delivery expectations.
Experience / Qualifications
- Technical secondary education or vocational qualification in electrical engineering, electronics, mechatronics, industrial automation, or a related discipline.
- Practical experience in electrical assembly, machine wiring, control-panel assembly, equipment build, or a similar technical environment.
- Ability to read and work from electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, technical drawings, and assembly instructions.
- Working knowledge of electrical components, cables, sensors, safety devices, terminals, and control-cabinet hardware.
- Ability to use electrical measurement instruments and standard hand tools safely and correctly.
- Basic troubleshooting skills and a structured approach to identifying assembly or wiring issues.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality, safety, and accurate execution of technical requirements.
- Good organization and time-management skills, with the ability to complete assigned work within agreed schedules.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn, follow standard processes, and support continuous improvement activities.
- Basic computer literacy; working knowledge of English is an advantage.
