Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, entry points, loading areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site policy, and report access-control issues or suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and complete incident reports according to site procedures.
• Maintain awareness of changing conditions throughout the location and communicate security-related concerns, maintenance issues, and policy violations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
