No prior Radiation Oncology experience is required! Full training and ongoing support will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity to develop specialist skills in a highly rewarding area of nursing.
Working Monday to Friday clinic hours, you'll have your evenings and weekends free while supporting patients throughout their treatment journey and working alongside a collaborative multidisciplinary team.

More specifically, you will:
You will play a key role in delivering safe, coordinated, and patient centred care by:
- Providing high-quality nursing care and support to patients undergoing treatment
- Delivering patient education, symptom management, medication administration and supportive nursing interventions
- Assessing, monitoring, and responding to patients' clinical and emotional needs throughout treatment
- Coordinating patient care to ensure a seamless and positive treatment experience
- Collaborating closely with Radiation Oncologists, Radiation Therapists, and Patient Services teams to deliver integrated care
- Building trusted relationships with patients, carers, and families through compassionate and supportive care
- Maintaining accurate clinical documentation to support continuity of care
- Following clinical protocols, policies, and best practice standards
- Applying medication safety principles and infection prevention practices consistently
- Using structured communication tools, including ISBAR, to support safe patient care
- Contributing to a positive, collaborative, and patient focused team culture

You bring both clinical capability and a strong commitment to patient care:
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- No prior Radiation Oncology experience is required, with full training provided
- Strong interpersonal and communication skillsA compassionate, patient centred approach to careSound clinical judgement and problem solving skills
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
- A commitment to professional development and continuous improvement
- Experience in wound care management is advantageous
