Jamison Professional Services, Inc. (“Jamison”) is currently seeking a qualified and motivated candidate for the position of Procurement Technician – Part-Time.
Location: Remote
Schedule: Part-Time, up to 20 hours per week
Anticipated Start Date: September 15, 2026

Hourly Rate: $27.00 + Benefits

DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES:
Jamison Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a qualified Procurement Technician to provide part-time procurement and administrative support to the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). The successful candidate will support procurement operations throughout the acquisition lifecycle, including contract file maintenance, pre-award and post-award activities, contract closeouts, procurement documentation, vendor coordination, and electronic contract management systems.

Responsibilities:
Maintain contract files and ensure procurement documentation is complete, accurate, and properly organized.
Scan, upload, and maintain contract documentation in the Electronic Contract Management System (eCMS).
Support pre-award and post-award procurement activities.
Assist with market research and preparation of solicitation packages and pre-bid materials.
Assist with past performance checks and administrative contract file preparation.
Track contract milestones and assist with contract closeout activities.
Maintain and update vendor and item files.
Maintain and update Contracting Officer Representative (COR) logs.
Prepare administrative procurement documents, including award letters, modification packages, extension notices, and release-of-claims forms.
Serve as recorder for bid openings while maintaining required confidentiality and accuracy.
Coordinate contractor-required training, including Privacy, Cybersecurity, and CBI training, and collect required completion certificates.
Assist with resolving delinquent deliveries and vendor-related issues through communication, coordination, and follow-up.
Perform additional procurement and administrative support duties as assigned within the scope of the position.

REQUIRED AND DESIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Familiarity with procurement regulations, acquisition documentation, and contract file structure requirements.
Ability to effectively use eCMS, IFCAP, and related procurement systems.
Understanding of procurement and contract administration processes.
Strong administrative and organizational skills.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate documentation.
Ability to track multiple assignments, deadlines, and contract milestones.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to effectively communicate and follow up with vendors and internal stakeholders.
Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling procurement and contracting information.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment while meeting established deadlines and performance requirements.

Schedule:
This is a remote, part-time position working up to 20 hours per week. Work schedules may be adjusted with Government approval based on operational requirements.

Clearance Level Required: Employment is contingent upon successfully completing any required background checks, in accordance with applicable law.
