CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
| CANDIDATES MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS: | |
| EDUCATION | Must possess a completed/awarded Bachelor's degree in purchasing/supply management, business/public administration, economics, accounting, finance or related field. |
| EXPERIENCE | Must possess five (5) years of (full-time equivalent) experience of procurement or direct buying experience for goods and services AND two (2) years of full-scope supervisory experience. |
| SUBSTITUTION | A Master's degree from an accredited institution in a qualifying field may substitute for one (1) year of the experience requirement. |

| EDUCATION | Qualifying degrees or coursework must be completed at a college or university accredited by any accrediting association recognized by the United States Department of Education. Degrees or coursework completed outside the U.S. must be accompanied with an evaluation report from a reputable credential evaluation service showing equivalency to degrees or coursework completed at a college or university accredited by any accrediting association recognized by the United States Department of Education. - Possession of Certified Public Purchasing Buyer (CPPB) or Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) certification.
- Experience in a centralized, public sector purchasing department with direct purchasing and buying experience, contract administration experience, and strong knowledge of procurement policies.
- Customer service driven and results-focused in order to provide prompt and efficient service, including prioritization of customer services.
- Forward-thinking and innovative, with the ability to identify initiatives, motivate the team, and effect change.
- Problem solver with excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
