Purpose of the Job

▪ Own the delivery of Supply Management analytics, from business needs to deployed & adopted solutions.

▪ The role shapes business needs and demand, translates requirements into practical delivery plans, builds decision-ready analytics, secures stakeholder sign-off, drives adoption, and ensures solutions can move cleanly into run mode.

▪ Outputs could range from reports (Power BI / Excel) to commercial models (e.g. for RFI support or opportunity identification) or process efficiencies (automation & simplification).

▪ You’ll be successful here if you are technically strong, curious, careful with data quality, and confident enough to challenge numbers that do not look right.

Context and main issues

▪ The current portfolio of Spend Analytics products (data sources, dashboards, self service capability) is complex and not aligned with needs and expectations.

▪ The objective moving forward is to deliver the right outcome with fewer handoffs, less duplication, stronger quality control, and clearer ownership.

▪ The role must work effectively across business stakeholders, Run teams and Build teams. It requires the ability to clarify ambiguous requests, make pragmatic trade-offs, challenge low-value work, and ensure

outputs are robust, documented and supportable.

▪ Many of the best opportunities will not arrive as clearly defined requirements. Stakeholders may be time-poor, sceptical or struggle to articulate where we could help, so the role must actively uncover pain

points, challenge existing ways of working and turn loosely defined needs into practical opportunities.

▪ Success will be measured by better business outcomes, user adoption, reduced rework, clearer accountability and lower cost-to-serve.

Main Assignments / Core Responsibilities

Demand, Develop & Build Trust

▪ Shape business demand into a clear problem statement, scope, expected outcome, delivery plans, and acceptance criteria.

▪ Lead the end-to-end analytics delivery, including data sourcing (within available data sources), data preparation, modelling, reporting, validation, and sign-off.

▪ Build and maintain scalable, decision-ready outputs in Power BI and related tools, with an emphasis on business relevance, quality, usability, and maintainability.

▪ Perform data quality checks, reconcile key numbers, challenge & investigate inconsistencies, and document assumptions and known limitations.

Stakeholder, Opportunity Insight & Adoption

▪ Engage Supply Management regional and global teams, as well as technical teams to align priorities, test outputs and secure decisions. Produce run-ready deliverables, including handover notes, refresh expectations, issue pathways, and practical documentation that supports smooth transition into run mode.

▪ Work with Run and Build teams to direct work to the right route, avoid informal workarounds, and reduce unnecessary cost and confusion.

▪ Identify opportunities to simplify & automate where this creates clear business value.

▪ Identify opportunities for the data to deliver value to the business.

▪ Support adoption of analytics tools and self-service ways of working while acting as a business partner to turn data into insight and action.

Accountabilities / Key Outputs

▪ Stakeholder-ready analytics solutions delivered to agreed outcomes and timelines.

▪ Well-defined scope, documented acceptance criteria and clear stakeholder sign-off, , with assumptions and limitations made clear. Must be done whilst remaining true to the spirit of agility

▪ Run-ready outputs that minimise downstream issues and reduce dependence on ad-hoc support.

▪ Measurable reduction in duplication, manual analysis and unnecessary handoffs over time.

▪ Positive business feedback on the quality, relevance and responsiveness of analytics support.

Person Specification

▪ You’ll be successful here if you are technically strong, curious, careful with data quality, and confident enough to challenge numbers that do not look right. You care about making reporting easier for the business, not more complicated.

▪ You know that a great Power BI report is not the one with the most visuals. It is the one people trust, understand, and actually use.

▪ Advanced Power BI & Fabric experience is essential. Data acquisition, data transformation, data modelling, Dax, visualisations/UX, access mgmt, refresh pipelines, efficiency tools.

▪ Critical you can design models that are primed for agile continuous improvements & scaling. Able to demonstrate a natural ability for continuous self-learning & proactively staying on top of developments in Power BI.

▪ Advanced Excel is highly desirable

▪ Practical experience with blending mixed data sources. SQL, Python, APIs, or equivalent automation tooling is highly desirable. As is any hands-on experience with AI/ML tools.

▪ Strong experience delivering analytics work from problem definition through to deployed output and stakeholder acceptance.

▪ Ability to work independently through ambiguity, create structure and make pragmatic delivery trade-offs. Being proactive is non-negotiable. You must be a strong self-starter.

▪ Strong business judgement and analytical thinking, with the ability to move beyond reporting into actionable insight and practical solutioning.

▪ Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Excellence in simplifying complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders & providing management with concise & relevant updates.

▪ Ability to influence, challenge, and align people around decisions and priorities. Being naturally customer centric.

▪ Disciplined approach to planning, quality, validation, documentation, handover and maintainability.

▪ Cost-aware and value-focused, with the ability to distinguish useful improvement from unnecessary complexity. Ability to think of different options to reach the desired goal.

▪ Experience working in multi-country or cross-functional environments with a high degree of coordination complexity.

▪ Experience in procurement, supply management or commercial analytics is a plus.

▪ Fluent in English. Fluency in a second language is a plus (particularly French).
