Description

Opportunity

Brunswick is accelerating its use of AI to strengthen both the advice we give clients and how we operate. We are looking for an AI Product Manager to join our AI Lab and help identify, design and scale proprietary AI products that enhance how Brunswick works and advises clients.

Sitting at the intersection of AI, product and the business, you will identify high-value opportunities, turn ambiguous ideas into compelling product concepts, and work closely with AI Engineers to bring them to life.

This role is focused specifically on proprietary products developed by the AI Lab. It does not own firmwide adoption, training or enablement for general-purpose AI tools.

As the AI Product Manager, you will own product management across the AI Lab’s portfolio, with a particular focus on discovering and shaping new products and capabilities.

You will work with teams across Brunswick to understand business problems and user needs, identify where bespoke AI can create meaningful value, and translate the strongest opportunities into clear product propositions and requirements.

Acting as the bridge between users and engineers, you will help determine what to build, what not to build and where to focus.

About the Role

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Identify and shape opportunities for new proprietary AI products and capabilities across Brunswick.
  • Lead product discovery, understanding user and business needs, defining opportunities and testing whether ideas are worth pursuing.
  • Turn promising ideas into clear product concepts, user journeys, requirements and prototypes.
  • Work closely with AI Engineers through design and development, making pragmatic trade-offs between user value, functionality, speed and technical complexity.
  • Own and prioritise the roadmap and backlog across the AI Lab’s portfolio.
  • Run rapid pilots and user testing, using feedback and evidence to decide where to scale, adapt or stop.
  • Ensure trust is designed into products from the outset, with appropriate consideration for governance, privacy, security, safety and responsible AI.
  • Develop reusable capabilities that can scale across Brunswick rather than solving the same problems multiple times.
  • Build strong relationships across Brunswick, translating between business needs and technical possibilities and engaging colleagues throughout product development.
  • Stay close to emerging AI capabilities and identify where they could enable new products, differentiated capabilities or materially better ways of working.

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for someone who combines strong product judgement, creativity and structured problem-solving with the ability to turn emerging technology into practical, high-value products.

You will be comfortable starting with ambiguous problems, moving quickly from insight to prototype, and working closely with engineers and users to find the right solution. The successful candidate will bring:

  • 5+ years of relevant product management experience, with a track record of delivering digital, software, data or AI-enabled products.
  • Experience taking new products or capabilities from discovery and concept through to launch and iteration.
  • Strong product discovery skills, with the ability to uncover genuine user needs and challenge assumptions about the right solution.
  • Experience translating complex or loosely defined business needs into clear product requirements for technical teams.
  • Strong prioritisation and product judgement, including making trade-offs between user value, effort, speed and complexity.
  • Experience working closely with software engineers and technical specialists, with sufficient technical fluency to contribute meaningfully to solution design.
  • Strong familiarity with generative AI and large language models, including product patterns such as retrieval-augmented generation, agents, orchestration and evaluation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the judgement to distinguish interesting technology from a genuinely valuable product.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build credibility across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Intellectual curiosity, a collaborative approach and a willingness to keep learning in a rapidly evolving field.

Desirable Experience

  • Developing products using generative AI, large language models or other emerging technologies.
  • Rapid prototyping, experimentation or innovation-led product development.
  • Building internal enterprise tools or bespoke technology products.
  • Working in professional services, advisory or another stakeholder-intensive environment.
