About Our Family
We are a warm, busy, growing family of four, with a new little one joining us very soon. Our home is full of energy, routines, and the excitement that comes with raising young children. Both parents are entrepreneurial, and we are looking for someone who can be a trusted, steady presence in our home and help make everyday life feel more manageable.
Family is at the heart of everything we do. We value a home that feels welcoming, respectful, and grounded in good manners, structure, and connection. We believe children thrive with clear expectations, consistent routines, time to play, and adults who are caring, engaged, and genuinely enjoy being with them.
We place a high value on trust and discretion. The person joining our household will become someone we rely on closely, so we are looking for a professional who understands that working in a private home is about much more than completing a list of tasks. It is about becoming a trusted partner to the family while respecting the privacy and boundaries of the home.
Life in our household has a natural rhythm, but no two days are exactly alike. There are activity schedules, meals, laundry, errands, and countless little details that can quickly pile up. We are looking for someone who enjoys bringing order to those details and takes pride in helping a household run smoothly.
We appreciate someone who is flexible, anticipates busier stretches, and helps maintain a sense of calm when there is a lot happening.
Ultimately, we are looking for someone who will feel like a natural extension of our family — a second set of hands, a second brain, and a trusted teammate who helps everyone feel more supported.
Who You Are
We’re looking for someone who naturally brings warmth, calm, and confidence into a home. You genuinely enjoy caring for young children and know how to make them feel seen, supported, and cared for while maintaining the routines, boundaries, and expectations that help them thrive. You bring positive energy to the day and have the instincts to recognize what a child—or a family—needs before they have to ask.
You’re proactive by nature and take pride in being someone the family can truly rely on. You notice when laundry needs to be put away, the refrigerator needs restocking, dinner needs to get started, or an errand can be handled—and you simply take care of it. You don’t need to be micromanaged, and you enjoy creating order, managing multiple priorities, and keeping the household moving even when family life changes quickly.
You’re also highly collaborative. You’ll take the time to understand how our family operates, learn the systems already in place, and thoughtfully offer ideas to make things even better. You have an all-hands-in mentality and aren’t above any task that helps the family. Open, honest communication matters to you, and you’re comfortable asking questions, sharing ideas, and addressing concerns early so you can work together toward solutions.
Above all, you’re trustworthy, discreet, and respectful. You understand the privilege of working closely within a family’s home and treat that trust and privacy with the highest level of professionalism. You also appreciate a family-centered approach to raising children—teaching manners, encouraging independence, establishing routines, and creating a childhood filled with both structure and fun.
Ultimately, we’re looking for someone with strong instincts, excellent follow-through, an enduring spirit, and a genuine desire to become a trusted and valued part of our family’s everyday life.
